Ken Reinhard

A lighting industry veteran with more than 20 years' experience, Ken Reinhard joined Tarrant Interiors in 1995 to redirect their efforts in lighting. He served as Vice President until July 1999, when he and Nick Baker acquired the lighting business from the parent company and formed Tarrant Lighting.

Prior to his appointment at Tarrant Interiors, Reinhard held key sales management positions with Thomas Lighting, Cooper Lighting, and Devoe Lighting.

Reinhard was responsible for the consolidation of Cooper Lighting's national account efforts, growing sales from $21 million to more than $55 million. At Thomas Lighting, he re-energized the national accounts program, building internal operations and expanding sales from $8 million to $45 million in five years.

Reinhard began his career with Devoe Lighting as a sales representative for racquet sports lighting products. There, he developed an innovative program for manufacturers of racquet sports courts.

A native of Schenectady, NY, Reinhard graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. He is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society, and a Lighting Certified (LC) Professional.

Nick Baker

Prior to forming Tarrant Lighting with Ken Reinhard, Baker was General Manager of the Heat Transfer Division, ITT Fluid Technology Corporation, Buffalo, NY. In that position, he directed extensive successful turnarounds in operations and customer service. This assignment marked a return to ITT for Baker, who had spent twenty years with ITT Pneumotive, Monroe, LA, from 1965 to 1985. He remained with Pneumotive through two successive acquisitions, the last by Thomas Industries.

In 1990, Baker was invited by Thomas Industries to relocate to California and consolidate their Outdoor Lighting Group. He led the successful consolidation of all sales, marketing, and operational functions of three outdoor lighting companies.

Following his promotion to Corporate Vice President and General Manager for Thomas Lighting, Tupelo, MS, in 1992, Baker supervised operational changes that reduced costs by more than $3 million annually. He was also integral in the growth of Thomas Lighting's largest national account from $6 million to $21 million.

A native of Perry, IA, Baker attended Orange Coast College in California and
Wittenburg University in Ohio.
